January 16 Devotional

After praying about today’s devotion, the Lord drew me to Psalm 15 and the two ways it speaks to me and I would like to share them with you:
1. This is a description of the man that my heart desires to be. It is only by the power and work of the Holy Spirit that I would even have this desire. He had to remove my heart of stone and replace it with a heart of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26) so that I may experience His overflowing love and His never ending grace.
2. This is a picture of my Lord and savior Jesus Christ. The chief cornerstone (Ephesians 2:20), my rock and foundation (Psalm 18:2), and the one who shall never be moved and in Him I shall never be moved (Psalm 15:5). Throughout your day today remind yourself of the waves of grace and His never ending light that we grow in and that one day we will dwell in our Lords tent on his holy hill. Thank you Jesus for being the perfect sacrifice so that I may live forever in your presence. Amen.
